Courtyard Fence

Another project we finished a bit ago is our courtyard fence. The old barn red one (with what I think is called a double blind layout) didn't quite accomplished the mid-century feel we wanted. It's a simple design with stained cedar. (We tested a treated plank and the finish was no comparison to cedar, which should wear outside in the elements just fine.) That's all it took: simple lines with quality materials. Since finishing the fence, we had a local craftsman weld an amazing gate. I'll post photos of that soon, too.
